Thank you Sportmans Warehouse ACT for helping us collect Football shoes, March 2009

March 2009 I have approached Sportsman's Warehouse that has 4 Local Sports stores here In the ACT to help us out with our collection of football shoes by placing collection boxes in all of the stores in the ACT.

I got a positive reply from the manager Alannah Magee accepting that the boxes be placed in the stores. That was one of the best news I got all year Magnificent!!!!!! I am so excited!!!

I have made 4 collection boxes and dropped them at the stores.

We also intensified our promotion via posters being placed at various sporting venues and busy locations within ACT detailing our collection drive with Sportsman's Warehouse as the drop of point.

With thanks to Alannah The management and staff of Sportsman's Warehouse ACT, thank you all

2009 January Trip to Cebu and Mindanao Philippines

I went to Philippines January 2009 for a 2 week visit and with that occasion I have personally delivered the football shoes collected in 2008 and given them to the lucky Juniors from Nasipit FC Mindanao. Also provided the club with a mix of about 25 new and old Balls and some sheen pads .

With that occasion I have met the The coach Mr Rene Sanoria whom i have visited the local schools meet the Principals and organised for mini goals to be made so the kids can play football in their spare time and sport practice lessons.

After Nasipit I have gone to Cebu were I have met with a German National Mr Manfred Schuwerk that resides in Lapu Lapu Cebu which is managing a Football Club via help from germany and his own funds. A very dedicated hard working man that has achieved a lot in promoting football and helping disadvantaged kids master the game in the Lapu Lapu area of Cebu Philippines.
During our visit we have donated about 10 new balls with the promise of some football shoes to follow sometime later in 2009.
Manfred's club website is http://fcintercebu.com/
Here is a bit of trivia. The Island of Lapu Lapu is named after Lapu Lapu the leader warrior that has fought the Magelan's Spanish army and in that Battle Magelan lost his life.
